Measure up your window frame. This is a crucial part of the process. Once you have the correct measurements, you can then get the right blinds and quantities. At the very least, you can get shop around and get quotes, so you know what you're looking at in terms of costing. The best way to measure up is to take the size of your window cavity, and make a decision on whether you want it inside or outside the cavity. When going for an inside mount, allow a 30mm gap on each side of the blind, to prevent it from touching the sides.
Install the dual brackets to the window frame. Draw up markings on either side of the frame, where the brackets need to sit. Make sure they are the same height and depth in relation to the window. Hold the bracket in place and pre-drill the screw holes,. Finally, screw the brackets in using an impact driver.
Mount the dual roller blinds to the window frame. Now, install the rolled up blinds into the brackets.
Secure sash cord to window frame. Ensure that the sash cord’s control bracket is secured to the window frame. Screwing a control bracket for the cord onto the frame adds security. It prevents a choking hazard.
